David Lowenschuss, JD

As a practicing attorney that specializes in biotech and life science, Mr. Lowenschuss provides legal guidance to large and small pharmaceutical and biotech companies. His knowledge and experience in the legal and business realms of life science and technology enables him to offer valuable legal advise to start-ups and established pharmaceutical developers. His experience includes resolution of ongoing legal issues to prevent costly litigation, sound legal guidance for business plan development and implementation, SEC filings and negotiating and drafting R&D agreements. 

Mr. Lowenschuss’ private practice offers virtual access to his legal expertise. He was a co-founder and founding board member of Gemphire Therapeutics, Inc. (NASDAQ: GEMP), is a co-founder of Michigan Life Ventures, LLC, and currently serves as its Chief Legal Manager. Mr. Lowenschuss lectures at the University of Michigan on various topics, including historical perspectives on human subject research. He holds a JD from George Washington University and is admitted to the Michigan Bar.
